DIALOG is powered by designers across architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban planning, and structural, mechanical and electrical engineering. They believe in the power of built form to meaningfully improve the wellbeing of our communities and the environment we all share.
The Challenge
For years DIALOG has been designing some of the most interesting and innovative places across Canada. While their brand was well known within the construction and architecture world, it lacked meaningful reach among the people who actually use those places.
To push their brand presence to the masses, we needed to capture the essence of those places in a way that the end-user can relate to. So we embarked on a multi-year partnership to tell stories of their design, starting with the Walterdale Bridge, Edmonton’s newest iconic landmark.
From concept to launch, we developed a short-form video that tells the design story of the project. It featured principal architects, the former mayor of Edmonton, and more importantly snippets of the people who use it.
The Walterdale design story video became essential content for DIALOG to use in its brand marketing efforts. DIALOG uses it to generate brand awareness on social media, as well as brand content on its website.
From that point on we helped DIALOG tell short stories of other iconic structures across Alberta such as St. Joseph Seminary, Decidedly Jazz Studio, Calgary Cancer Centre, Calgary Foothills Hospital and Edmonton Valley Zoo.
